This product is a medical device. Before using it, carefully read the packaging and instruction manual. Before applying the Chicco Thermogel Pads x2 to the breasts, always test the temperature in the back of your hand.
For a cooling effect, leave the pads in the fridge at 4ºC (approximately 39ºF) for at least 2 hours. Dry them with a cloth or paper towel. Then, insert them in the covers and place them inside the bra cups. Position the larger part of the pad on the most painful part of the breast. Leave them for 20 minutes or as needed.
For a warming effect, place the pads in a bowl of water and heat them in the microwave at a maximum of 300W for 5 minutes. Remove the pads from the water and dry them with a cloth or paper towel. Make sure the pads are slightly warmer than your body temperature. Insert the pads in the cotton covers and place them inside the bra cups. Keep the pads on for 10-15 minutes. Wait a few minutes before breastfeeding the baby, to make sure the temperature of the breast isn't too hot.
