Heliocare Ultra D Sun Capsules is a nutritional supplement that, in complement with topical sun protection, helps protect even the most sensitive skin from the sun. It contains Fernblock®, a patented extract that derives from a botanical extract that has developed a natural mechanism to protect itself from solar radiation. In essence, Fernblock® helps boost the natural defenses of the skin against sun exposure. It also contains antioxidants and vitamins. Together they help protect the skin from free radicals and increase the skin's resistance to the sun. It is also enriched, in specific, with Vitamin D. This is especially important to counterbalance the fact that people who have extreme solar allergies usually don't get enough radiation to produce the necessary amount of Vitamin D since it contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
