The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30ml is a high-strength exfoliating facial treatment designed for experienced users of acid exfoliation. Combining alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHA), this at-home peel works to improve skin texture, reduce pore congestion, and promote a visibly more even complexion. In other words, it helps refine the skin, leaving it looking smoother and clearer with continued use. The formulation includes 30% AHA, a blend of glycolic, lactic, tartaric, and citric acids, which facilitate the removal of dead skin cells, revealing a brighter, more refined skin surface. This process helps to smooth rough texture, improve radiance, and fade signs of uneven skin tone over time. Complementing this, 2% BHA (salicylic acid) penetrates deep into the pores, helping to clear congestion. Apply The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30ml onto clean and dry skin of the face and neck, avoiding the eye contour. Then, leave it on for a maximum of 10 minutes. Finally, thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water, making sure to avoid contact with the eyes. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use once or twice a week, ideally in the evening.
Due to its high concentration of free acids, this solution should be used with caution. It is recommended to use it only if you are an experienced user of acid exfoliation and your skin is not sensitive. Do not use this product on sensitive, peeling, broken, or compromised skin. If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. It is recommended to do a patch test prior to using this product: apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm. Then, rinse off after the specified duration of use. If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation occurs at any time throughout the test, do not use the product. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid and a beta hydroxy acid that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn.
