• 0.2% Chlorhexidine Digluconate has antibacterial properties, decreasing bacteria in dental plaque. It forms a protective layer over the gums and teeth to help manage plaque and reduce symptoms of gingivitis such as redness and bleeding.

Before using Parodontax Alcohol Free Extra Mouthwash 300ml, brush the teeth. Then, thoroughly rinse the mouth with water to remove any toothpaste residue, and wait 5 minutes. After this, fill the measuring cup up to the line (10 ml) with the mouthwash. Swish the mouthwash around the mouth for 1 minute and spit it out. To prevent problems caused by dental prostheses, wash the prosthesis and then submerge it in the mouthwash for 15 minutes, twice a day. It is recommended to use this product as a short-term, intensive treatment, or as directed by your dentist.

This product can cause temporary discoloration of the teeth and tongue. To minimize this, reduce the intake of staining foods such as red wine, tea, or coffee. It can also cause a stinging or burning sensation, as well as changes in taste, in the first use. These should disappear with continued use of the product. Stop using it and consult with your dentist if you feel pain or mouth irritation. Seek immediate medical attention in case of rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, face, or respiratory difficulties. Do not use in case of a previous allergic reaction to any of the ingredients.
