Product Description

APIVITA My Color Elixir is a permanent hair dye that delivers natural as well as a vibrant and lasting results. Containing nourishing, repairing and revitalizing as well as hydrating and softening ingredients, APIVITA resorts to nature to find the finest botanical extracts and grant professional results. Featuring three precious oils of argan, avocado and olive together with hyaluronic acid and honey, this formula provides your hair with more than just color. Argan, avocado and olive oil deeply nourish and repair the hair, all the while protecting it from aggressions such as chlorine found in swimming pools or styling products like hairspray. At the same time, organic olive oil revitalizes hair and protects it from hair breakage and split ends. Organic honey extract hydrates and softens both the hair and scalp while hyaluronic acid replenishes the hair with intensive hydration.

Precautions

Hair coloring relies on a chemical reaction to deliver the desired long-lasting results. This formula excludes as many potentially irritating ingredients as possible. However, there are not yet completely natural alternatives to deliver the same results;
Conduct the sensitivity test 48 hours before application to check your personal tolerance to the product, even if you have previously used hair coloring products of this or another brand;
Hair colorants can cause allergic reactions, which can be severe. This product is not intended for use on people under the age of 16;
Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly with water if any of the products (developer or the color mixture) comes into contact with them. Remove contact lenses before flushing eyes. If the irritation persists, consult a specialist;
Apply the product in a well-ventilated room. Do not inhale or ingest the product;
Remove all metal objects from hair before coloring. Do not use metallic instruments to perform the application;
Do not exceed the recommended processing times;
Store the product in a cool place, away from any source of heat and out of the light.

Do not color your hair if:

You have a skin rash on the face or if your scalp is experiencing sensitivity, irritation, or is damaged;
In the past, you have already had a reaction after coloring the hair;
You have already had a reaction to a black henna temporary tattoo or have dyed your hair with henna. Temporary “black henna” tattoos may increase your risk of allergy.

How to use

To begin with, take off all your jewelry and wear gloves. Do not remove it until the end of the application stage;
Use a towel covering the shoulders to prevent your clothing from staining; to avoid staining the skin, apply a small amount of oil around the hairline;
In order to achieve the best results, don’t shampoo your hair more than once for the following 24 hours after application; equally important, avoid hair mask and oil treatments one week before hair coloring;
In order to achieve the best results, make sure that the room temperature is equal to or over 20ºC during application;
If your hair is permed or chemically straightened, wait 15 days before coloring;
For effective coverage of grey hair, it is very important to apply the dye in sufficient quantity, distributing it in fine sections;
If you have highlighted hair, it may be necessary to go with more than one application to achieve a uniform color;
If you have colored your hair with henna or any other semi-permanent color, it is key to wait until the color is completely gone before coloring to achieve an even result when coloring your hair again.

Preparation:

Avoid contact with eyes and skin, as it may cause irritation. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with abundant water;
Do not use the product to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Failure to follow these instructions may cause blindness;
Keep the product out of reach from children;
Use the product immediately after mixing and do not keep any leftover product. Never leave the mixture in a closed applicator.

To begin with preparation, pour the entire content of the color cream tube into the color developer bottle, with a mixing ratio of 1:1.5. Then, replace the cap of the bottle that now contains the mixture and shake it until it transforms into a smooth texture. The following step is to cut the tip off the applicator at the end of the cap and immediately start the application on dry hair.

Application on dry hair:

In case you are dyeing your hair for the first time or have not dyed your hair in the past 3 months

1. Apply the mix on the roots of your hair, separating the individual sections with the applicator tip. Distribute the mixture evenly over the entire length of the hair, until the ends, thoroughly massaging it in;

2. Leave the mixture on for 30 minutes (in case of stubborn gry hair, leave the product for 10 extra minutes, with a total application time of 40 minutes);

3. After the indicated time, gently massage the hair and scalp without adding any water. Then, add a small amount of warm water and continue massaging until the mixture turns into a foam;

4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water until it runs clear, and then wash it with a gentle shampoo;

5. Apply the needed amount of post-color hair conditioner, covering all the hair. Leave in for 3 minutes then rinse your hair thoroughly;

6. Apply the second sachet of the conditioner after 15 days to enhance shine.

In case you have dyed your hair with a similar color in the past three months (root touch-up application)

1. Distribute the mixture on the roots, separating the individual sections with the applicator tip. Leave the mixture on for 30 minutes;

2. Optional step if the color has faded on your lengths and ends: spread the rest of the product along the entire length of the hair and ends and leave it the last 10 minutes of the processing time;
