This protective effect is due to the presence of potassium nitrate, an ingredient that desensitizes the nerve endings in teeth to external stimuli, thereby reducing pain. In addition to its sensitivity-relief properties, this toothpaste contains Fluorinol® (1350 ppm F-). This is a patented ingredient that binds to enamel six times more effectively than conventional fluoride, helping to remineralize and strengthen enamel.
